Wine information
Nicholas Keeler of Authentique Wine Cellars is one of the most dynamic new producers coming out of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. A French wine barrel expert by trade, he expanded his love and hobby of making wine in 2011 when he produced his first Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The focus now is mostly on single vineyard wines to show off the true character of the region. A nod to Oregon's Van Duzer Corridor whose winds directly impact the Eola-Amity Hills and vineyards to the southwest. Bing cherry, raspberry, underlying sage and blackberry. Its lithe structure and juicy acidity hold a great line through the finish.
Robin says "Authentique has some of the most beautiful wine labels and "The Corridor" is probably my favourite. Atmospheric and mysterious, it really draws you in as much as the delicious wine inside."

Just like Burgundy!
Despite its price, it isn't a huge amount for a great Oregon Pinot, which made me really not expect something like this. It was incredibly elegant, with a palate full of cherries and some warming spice. I was so happy I opened this while alone as I wouldn't want to share it!
