Domaine Les Sadons
Domaine Les Sadons is located south of the town of Pauillac, as small vineyard of only 0.89 hectares yet rubbing shoulders with plots of the Castles Pichon Baron and Pichon Comtesse. This small parcel of land was the family’s shared, vegetable garden, hives, sheep breeding lands until in 1999, and on agreement of the whole family, Alain was able to undertake the transform the land and turn the plots into sections of vines. Marking the beginning milestone in the creation of the Domaine Les Sadons.
In 2002, Alain, Bernadette and their two boys Adrien and Valentin vinified their first vintage and in 2006 was the first appearance of the labels of "Domaine Les Sadons" on bottles. Today, the domaine produces about 6000 bottles of its unique red wine from a blend of three grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot from its 0.87 hectares of vines.
