Sylvaine and Alain Normand’s domaine is located in the Mâconnais village of La Roche-Vineuse, which literally translates to “The Vinous Rock”. They began their estate in 1993 but has only in recent years began bottling their own wines rather than selling fruit to the local cooperative. This Mâcon La Roche-Vineuse perfectly exemplifies the richness of the vintage while retaining the mineral freshness of the region. Plump with notes of pear, almonds and citrus, this mouthfilling wine gently unfolds onto the palate finishing with subtle minerality and spice notes.
Robin says "This is a quinessential Mâcon, with a sweet core of fruit and an ample, easy mouthfeel. We have had a number of enthusiastic customer reviews of this wine. One for Chardonnay fans to try."
