Wine information
In the 1960's the Hannel-Hundinger (with a name like that it has to be good!) family founded the estate in the Pfalz region of Germany. The current custodian, grandson Gerald, runs the day to day, while his father Frithjof works in the vines. This Rosenbuhl is a delicious drier style of Riesling that nicely reflects the Pfalz region. Appealing and aromatic notes of yellow pineapple and white flowers lead into a moderately rich and present palate of apricot, pear and candied lemons. Mouth-filling with a gentle acidity that is folded into its notable fruit layers.
Robin says "Riesling is one of the most versatile varieties that can pair with many different types of food but can be easily enjoyed on its own. Kaiserbaum's Rosenbuhl perfectly embraces the Pfalz style - dry but not at all austere with an appealing roundness and fruit core.
