When opening a bottle and you find that it is corked or tainted, please let us know and we will credit your account with the full amount you paid for that bottle. Please be specific about the wine when contacting us, providing the name of the producer, name of wine and vintage.
Unfortunately, as we work with small producers they do run out of product from time to time. This particularly happens at the end of one vintage and the beginning of the next.
If a particular wine you love is out of stock, why not take the opportunity to try a new wine from the same producer or a similar style wine.
Should we run out of a wine before we’re able to stop any further sales online, we will replace the wine with a similar style that we think you’ll enjoy at an equal or greater value to the bottle you bought.
If you are not satisfied with the wine please contact our customer service centre to tell us why and we’ll be happy to credit you for the wine and suggest a replacement bottle.

Most wines contain sulphites, an inclusive term for sulphur dioxide (SO2). It is widely used as a preservative in winemaking for its antioxidant and antibacterial properties. SO2 plays an important role in preventing oxidization and maintaining a wine’s freshness but should not be detectable to the palate. Unless indicated on the bottle, all our wines contain sulphites at levels that comply with European legislation.
To find the alcohol percentage of our wines, please visit the wine’s product page which will confirm the alcohol percentage as well as all the other information about that specific wine such as country of origin, grape variety and sweetness level.
Within the product pages of all listed wines we have recommended food pairings options, as well as tasting notes to help you discover the best combination of food and wine to enjoy.

Decanting wine serves two functions: to separate wine from any sediment that may have formed and to aerate wine so that upon serving the flavours and aromas will be more vibrant.
To separate the wine from the sediment.
1. Set the bottle upright for at least 24 hours prior to decanting this will allow the sediment to collect at the bottom of the bottle.
2. Use a decanter or another clean, clear glass vessel in which the wine be easily be poured from.
3. Remove the cork; wipe the bottle neck and ensure it is clean.
4. Hold a light (candle or flashlight) under the neck of the bottle.
5. Slowly and steadily pour the wine into the decanter, as you get to the bottom half of the bottle, slowly reduce the rate of your pour.
6. Stop pouring as soon as you see sediment reaching the neck of the bottle.
7. The wine is now ready to be served.
You may choose to allow the wine to aerate prior to serving. General guidelines for aerating a particularly fragile or old wine (one about 15 years and older), should only be decanted 30 minutes before drinking. However younger, full-bodied red wines (and yes whites as well), can be decanted an hour or so before serving.
