Bodegas Arloren was founded in 1972 and focuses on making wines full of value and personality from the lesser known Jumilla region in the south of Spain. 4th Generation winemaker Domingo Arce heads up the estate now alongside his two children, José Antonio and Marisa specialising in Monastrell (Mourvèdre) which blossoms in the region. This wine is vibrant red in colour and very juicy within its medium-bodied core. Aromas of red liquorice, strawberry and cherry lead to gentle notes of cocoa and tobacco. Nicely balanced and well-made for a wine of its price.
Robin says "Vegacañada is a fresh, young wine without pretension that is perfect for easy drinking, picnics and parties. A "lighter-to-the-touch" Monastrell."
