Ramírez de la Piscina offers this generous tawny rimmed Rioja Reserva, deep ruby red and aromatic with a nose of forest floor, dried fruit and vanilla. An appealing traditionally styled wine with notable fruit and body.

Robin says "Ramírez de la Piscina is more of a traditional producer, but their wines are not shy of density or fruit. Their 2016 Reserva is produced from vineyards that are at least 30 years old and the wine is aged for 18 months in both French and American oak. A delicious drop that will please those who love traditional Rioja but also a bit of succulence in their wines."
