Botter Wines is based in the Veneto not far from the city of Venice. Family-owned and run, they have been a tour de force in winemaking for the past 80 or so years. In addition to the wines they make from the own region, they also produce wines from southern Italy. Despite having such a diverse range, they are capable of producing wines with lots of appeal that are representative of their region. Their La Di Motte is a quinessential Veneto Pinot Grigio with a bit more body and character. Moreish and fresh.
Robin says "Botter makes a number of Pinot Grigios from the vineyards around the Veneto. La Di Motte is one cuvée that has a little bit more personality and richness but still fresh and moreish."
