Botter Wines is based in the Veneto not far from the city of Venice. Family-owned and run, they have been a tour de force in winemaking for the past 80 or so years. In addition to the wines they make from the own region, they also produce wines from southern Italy. Despite having such a diverse range, they are capable of producing wines with lots of appeal that are representative of their region. A friendly and pretty rosé with just a touch of fruit sweetness making it nicely succulent and a perfect accompaniment to spicy food or cheese.
Robin Says "Pinot Grigio is actually a slightly pink variety ("grigio" means "grey" and indicates a variety that is "tinted", neither white nor black but something in between). Botter Wines produce this succulent, fruity gem from macerating the skins, so it remains light in colour but shows all the fruit appeal of the Pinot Grigio variety."
