Château La Rame's expressive dry white, is produced from a 3.5-hectare hillside site of clay and limestone that gets notable exposure ensuring excellent fruit ripeness. The 2021 delivers appealing notes of fresh peach, apple, lemon zest, lime and a salty tang finish. Plump and nicely layered.
Robin says "The 2021 La Rame is one of most complete Bordeaux whites that I have tried at this price point. Nicely mineral and fresh, its subsoil is composed of ancient sea fossils. It also spends 6 months on its lees following fermentation, adding complexity and a creaminess to its palate."
