Le Bonheur Estate's 2019 Petit Verdot Reserve is a selection of the vintage's top barrel and exudes a rich, deep ruby-purple colour and appealing notes of black cherry coulis, blueberry, violets, cedar and spice. A wine with polish and depth.
Robin says 'Petit Verdot is often regarded as the "dark horse" of the Bordeaux varieties for its deep colour and often brooding, dense palate. Le Bonheur's version is more approachable than many French versions with its velvety texture, juicy fruit core, fresh acidity and notable length. A very successful underdog that is worth discovering.'
