Loxwood Meadworks is a modern mead producer with a ‘medieval’ history. Sort of. Their mead was originally created to supply The Loxwood Joust, a medieval festival in West Sussex. Upon a bit of reflection, they wondered if they could create a mead for the modern age. After much experimenting and tasting, they found just the right style – fresh, refined and smooth but still with a hint of pure honey sweetness. We just love the result. Lifted and vibrant, this sophisticated fine-bead mead offers notes of honey, beeswax, fresh almond, marzipan and chamomile with just a splash of sweetness.
