Colleen and Nicholas Harbour have one of the most endearing stories we know. Born in Canada and USA respectively, they left their two successful careers in finance in 2012 and jumped feet first into oenology and marketing school to pursue a dream; to produce pure, terroir-driven wine in Burgundy and they have not looked back. Upon first taste, we were immediately impressed by their wines’ purity and quality. Their 2015 La Justice is Gevrey through and through. Broad and moderately dense, this wine shows it meaty core with additional notes of sweet tomato confit, red bramble fruits and spice. Appealingly savoury.
Robin says "La Justice is one of the more known "village" level vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin. It was the Harbours' largest productions in the 2015 vintage…a whopping 4 barrels (around 1200 bottles) to be exact. Ah the life of a micro-producer! Though still a little young in texture, this wine is showing really appealing savoury characters that make it even more enjoyable."
