Weingut Abraham Weissburgunder "In Der Lamm" IGT 2018
£27.00
Pinot Blanc is one of the unsung wine heroes in our book. Weingut Abraham’s is without a doubt one of the greatest we know. Their 2018 opens up with sweet pear, lemon zest, honeysuckle, brioche and salt caramel. A must try for Chardonnay lovers.
Robin says 'Pinot Blanc is actually a mutation of Pinot Noir (and so close genetically that on a DNA test, there is virtually no difference). The Abrahams produce theirs like a top white Burgundy with oak ageing and extended lees contact. The resulting wines are really striking with notable complexity, layers and length.'
